Today we have an update on our 3-5 year project (possibly a lifetime) Knotweed removal programme. Lots of work but it’s more exciting than going to a gym!

‘Doing it yourself’ Knotweed removal not to be recommended and certainly not for the faint hearted.
You must read up about the plant and do your research. Eradication will be a lengthy process requiring time perseverance diligence and persistence. THIS IS AN INVASIVE PLANT. There are many issues regarding the safe removal of Knotweed. You must prevent spreading by containing the spoil, roots and cuttings in a covered area with tarp for example. Dry before burning.
DO NOT take Knotweed to the tip or make compost with it.
