It’s good to take some time out from the renovation work.
We try to get out in the evenings for a long walk and love to have a glass of wine while we watch the sunset. This is a daily feature of our new life in France.
I can’t wait for family and friends to be allowed out to visit us. Looking forward to sharing more good times and getting creative in the huge spaces that we’re hoping to provide in the barn. A wood workshop, art space, craft and flower arranging, cooking, baking and dining at our out door kitchen and bread oven. Although the bread oven project hasn’t even begun!
We have to remind ourselves to live a little, enjoy France and take the renovations at a steady pace while continuing with Simon’s day job as a software engineer.
