Out on our morning walk, we see a daily changing landscape. Home from home it’s as wonderful as Derbyshire so I always feel like I have a piece of England with me. The cows are plentiful here and we are learning more about French cattle breeds.
Our neighbours sometimes have Aubrac’s in the field to graze they have lovely almond-shaped eyes. Further French cow breed reading on Wikipedia With clear views of the mountains in the distance. Our closest Ski resort Le Mont Dore is just an hour away. It’s not going to break any records for fabulous skiing but definitely worth a weekend out. We’ll see the snow as it dusts the tops on clear days. Can’t wait to see that. More info here.
