Keeping cool; swimming

On the bucket list is lots of open swimming. Ideally swimming with Coco the massive Labrador. A lake, a river a wild place to swim. No Chlorine, No Salt. I planned this adventure first in Norfolk during our camping trip. I took my wet suit to keep out the cold, I didn’t want to chicken out. In 2017 I did chicken out, it was too cold. In 2018 it was too hot – and I mean move and you burn hot, can’t be bothered to get in the car hot, swimming in the British sea hot. 2018 saw the best UK summer for 30+ years HOT. Possibly our last summer in England as a UK resident before moving to France. I took it as a good sign. A swimming lake 45mins drive from our little farmhouse in France, it’s now my local swimming pool!
