Classed as ‘essential farm delivery’ during locked down France today we received our second-hand 36-year-old mini tractor and ride-on lawnmower with trailer. We also took delivery of a new rotavator. Let the large scale gardening commence.
So far the mini trailer has been put to good use removing three loads of old rusting metal to our own on-site rubbish tip in anticipation of the déchetterie (community tip) being reopened in May. Simon cut the weeds down and I chopped down more of the knotweed regrowth before mowing to prevent spreading the cuttings that could re-root elsewhere in the garden.
