It’s been hot here temperatures reaching over 25 degrees all week. Everything is in full stealth growth in particular the grass as you can see in the image above. That’s not our field (thank goodness) although we have mowed the grass in our back garden today.

The pollen count is high and it’s time to bale that dried cut grass. The weather is set to change and the damp will ruin the fresh grass so it’s double busy time for the farmers with huge machinery as everyone rushes to bale up this fabulous early spring cut. We’ll taste it in the cheese to come…

Here is part two of Simon’s vlog on making our ‘French Door Gate’ It’s moving along nicely. Even the editing and camera work is improving. The time lapse option is very useful.
