From our Derbyshire Garden to French Garden / Woodland

The heading image is from our UK garden. The French garden currently requires a considerable amount of imagination to see its potential. I thought it would be useful for you to review where we came from. Then you can enjoy the journey of where we’re going.

My first love of alpine plants was nurtured by my mother-in-law Sarah, my gardening inspiration. I never believed that I could love gardens as much as I do now. Most of the alpines were purchased from a fab alpine nursery in Derbyshire I can’t wait to find out how ideas will evolve in our French garden. For now, it’s ‘roll up your sleeves’, deal with the knotweed, shift some huge rocks around and create some interesting and ecological shapes.

Here is the link to the pictures that I have from December 2018 of the garden and house.
More links and images to follow.
Tell me what you would like to see in the comments below and I’ll respond as soon as possible with hopefully with pictures and youtube videos too.
